Share Files to People, Groups and Records

Media Manager lets users to share files with the following categories,

  • People

  • Groups

  • Records

The Files can be shared to two Roles,

  • Viewer - Allows the user to just view the File

  • Moderator - Allows the user to view and share the File

People

Users can share files by choosing the people from the lookup

Groups

Files can be shared to one or Multiple groups by choosing Groups

 

Records

One of the significant feature in Media Manager is that it allows users to share files with other records.

For instance, A user decides to share an image file from an Account with a contact. It is done on the same interface just by selecting the Contact Object and the corresponding Contact Name. This saves a lot of click and time for the user.
