File Browser

File Browser

File Browser is Media Manager’s org-wide file discovery workspace that brings files from multiple objects, records, and related records into a single view. File Browser lets users start with a single search, refine the results (views, sorting, grouping, filters), perform the same actions available in Media Manager, and save the setup as a reusable configuration

File Browser is best suited for:

  • Finding files when users don’t know where the file was uploaded

  • Browsing files across Multiple Records, Related Records and Related Objects using a File Tree

  • Reusing a consistent “team view” for file discovery (saved configurations)

Open the File Browser tab in the Media Manager app. On load, the landing page provides:

  • Start Search begin a new search immediately

  • Import from Media Manager: reuse an existing Media Manager configuration as a starting point

If configurations already exist, they appear in a list on this page. Users can open a configuration to reuse the same setup (views, columns, filters, file tree, and actions).

You can also find the Help Icon on the top that can help with detailed documentation and Support Portal.
