Configure Media Manager
Media Manager is a user-friendly Salesforce component designed to streamline file management tasks. The Configuration list view features empower users to efficiently manage configurations according to business requirements.
Navigating through the Media Manager Configuration page will reveal the following options:
New: Redirects users to the configuration creation screen, allowing them to create a new configuration tailored to their needs.
Import: Imports JSON files from the local system, simplifying configuration navigation between orgs.
Export: Downloads the respective configuration(s) as a JSON file to the local system.
Actions: Perform row-level actions like View, Clone, and Delete.
All the columns in this list view can be sorted, and filters can also be applied to columns, providing enhanced flexibility and ease of navigation. Filters on more than one field can be applied, but only one condition at a time for a column. Additionally, only one column can be sorted at a time, ensuring simplicity and clarity in managing user data.
Default Setup
Media Manager/File Browser offers default configurations for flexible file management according to admin users' specifications. Default configurations as shown in the screenshot below will be seen:
By integrating configurations into lightning pages with provided configuration names, users can efficiently preview files as configured, enhancing performance and saving time.
