Filters

Filters in the AGrid product are criteria sets added by users, enabling them to view specific or filtered content on the AGrid List view.

Filter Section Details

  1. Field Name: Choose the field to display in the list view. Grid admins can select fields from the primary object or related parent objects. Currently, AGrid supports up to 5 parent object levels (e.g., Opportunity Product -> Opportunity -> Account -> Parent Account -> Owner).

  2. Operator: Select the appropriate operator based on the field's data type.
    o   Text data type: Equals, Not Equal To, Contains, Does not Contain, Starts with, Ends with, Includes, Excludes.
    o   Number data type: Equals, Not Equal To, Greater Than, Less Than, Greater or Equal, Less or Equal, Between, Not Between, Includes, Excludes.
    o   Picklist, multi-select picklist data type: Includes, Excludes.
    o   Reference data type: Equals, Not Equal To, Contains, Does not Contain, Includes, Excludes. 

  3. Value: Enter the value to apply in the filter. AGrid admins can input a static value or select a value from Global Variables.

Note: AGrid currently supports Global Variables such as Custom Metadata, Organization, Profile, and User. You can utilize Global Variables for even Community-specific list view configurations.

How to Add Filters

As an AGrid admin, you can easily configure default filters to enhance your list view. Follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Filters tab.

  2. Select Add Filters.

  3. Choose the Field Name, set the Operator, and enter the Value.

  4. Click Save in the Filters section.
