Create AGrid Configuration

To Create an AGrid Configuration, click on the “New button” on the top right corner of the page. Choose from these options to initiate a new Configuration:

  1. New: Create a Configuration from scratch.

  2. Import Salesforce List View: Create Configuration from existing Salesforce List Views.

  3. Import Salesforce Related List: Create configuration from existing Salesforce-related lists.

Create From Scratch

When you select the "New" option, you'll be directed to create an AGrid Configuration. This requires filling in details for the following fields, as shown in the screenshot:

  • Title – Provide a title for the Configuration.

  • Name – Once you create a title, an API name will automatically be generated.

  • Object – Select the Object for which you want to set up the configurations.

    • Show System Objects – You will see an additional option to view all System Objects to choose from.

  • Description - Optionally, you can add additional details about the configurations here.

Create AGrid from Scratch

Upon creation of the AGrid Configuration, you can start adding columns, filters, and any other required features.

Import From Salesforce List view

When you choose the "Import Salesforce List view" option, you'll go through the following steps:

  1. Select the Object from which you want to import an existing list view.

  1. Choose the existing List view from that Object to serve as the foundation for creating a new configuration.

  2. Rename your AGrid Configuration by updating the "Title" field and then verify the columns and filters needed for the configuration.

Note: You can also modify the Columns and Filters after the configurations have been created.

When you choose the "Import Salesforce Related List" option, you'll go through the following steps:

  1. Select the Primary Object from which you want to import an existing list view.

  2. Choose the Relationship Name which is simply the Objects related to Primary Object.

  1. Rename your AGrid Configuration by updating the "Title" field and then verify the columns and filters needed for the configuration.

Note: You can also modify the Columns and Filters after the configurations have been created.
