Post Installation Steps

Post Installation, the Salesforce Admin must ensure the following after installation steps for users to Setup and access AGrid features.

Assign AGrid Permission Sets

Before users can access AGrid features, Salesforce Admins must assign the appropriate permission sets.

Assign to Users

In the following steps, we'll assign the necessary permission sets to grant users access to AGrid features.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, and then select Permission Sets.

  2. Select an AGrid permission set based on the user role.

  3. In the permission set toolbar, click Manage Assignments.

  4. Click Manage Assignments and then Add Assignments.

  5. Select the checkboxes next to the names of the users you want assigned to the permission set and click Next.

  6. Optionally, select an expiration date for the user assignment to expire. Click Assign.

Assign via Permission Set Groups

Alternatively, you can streamline permissions by adding AGrid permissions to existing or new Permission Set Groups.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Set Groups, then select Permission Set Groups.

  2. Click New Permission Set Group.

  3. Enter a label and description for the permission set group and save your work.

  4. Click Add Permission Set. On the Add Permission Sets detail page, select the permission sets that you want to add to the group, and click Add.

  5. Once done, Click Manage Assignments and then Add Assignments.

  6. Select each user to whom you want to assign the group, and then click Next.

  7. Optionally, select an expiration date for the user assignment to expire.

  8. Click Assign.
